Because we are constantly planting seeds to ensure their freshness & viability, we often have plants to sell as well. These are listed on our new Nursery site. We are constantly updating and increasing the range onsite as we are comfortable that they can be easily grown.
This is a really vigorous little grower in just about any climate and at most times of the year.
We plant in late Summer and Autumn, which then provides us with the perfect salad onion for the rest of the year.
It is not invasive or messy and if harvested regularly retains it's healthy look all year through.
Great but mild flavoured variety, this leek is just the best for Leek and Potato soup.
It grows best from Autumn to Spring and is very frost tolerant as long as the soil is not too wet.
As with all of the Allium family, it prefers a well draining soil.
